The sale of the pic will benefit children's books at the library and also a woman's shelter.
Very cool happy to be a part of it!

This is on a card so not very large.

Here is the link to the persons page that created the event.

Wow it has been awhile since I put up anything. I'm sorry I am busy busy busy!
Lets see, been painting away for an upcoming show.
Shipping paintings and having to deal with the post office messing up a delivery, all straightened out now.
Learning to ship with new companies like fed ex.
Here is my latest two feedbacks from customers. I love the wonderful things they say so I would like to share with you.
I received the painting today and it is wonderful!!! I will get on etsy later and provide feedback, but let me tell you how wonderful it has been ordering something from you! I have never been more impressed with anyone! You were diligently checking on the painting and offering solutions! Thank you so much for all your work! This is a present for my boyfriend and although he knows it's coming and that he is getting it he is so excited to hang it up!! Thank you again
This is the piece the post office almost lost :)

Second feedback:
The artwork is beautiful and arrived quickly! The artist kept us up to date with shipping and we knew exactly when to expect it. Also it was securely packaged. It could have taken a beating during the shipping process and never would have affected the painting. I can't image a better buy!
Love my customers♥

Just a lot lately!
Today I varnished 28 paintings and am a little sick from the varnish and still getting ready for Sundays show.
The show is here:
Show THIS Sunday. Westlake Ohio. Note if you are coming and want to see anything in particular or whatever please let me know!!! I will be not be taking my whole inventory!

Well the weekend is over and back to work. I have been running some really good sales on etsy to raise money to buy my family gifts this year. Some of the prices I have offered are way below what I would ever want to sell them for. Some I had to put at a limited time because I just can't even stand the thought. So well, I think I am about done with the sales. I just can't offer them any less :) I'd rather keep them for my upcoming shows.

I just looked at the calendar I think sales will run to the 15th and then done with that. I will be adding 4 new pieces this week, all less expensive pieces and then no more till January. Little break for me to work on other projects. Anyways if your in the market for art check out the etsy store.

Today's Limited timed Offer SALE.  I have never put this piece on sale.
This piece has a lot of meaning in it. Certainly a one of a kind piece! I'll tell you more about it another time. I have got to get back into the studio and sign some paintings.
Here it is though: Castle Of Abandoned Fear

Monday, December 5, 2011

Good Morning. I haven't had a moment in the last couple days but here I am this morning. Thought I'd drop some info before going off to the studio. BUSY day ahead for me.
Hope everyone had a terrific weekend! Yesterday I featured two pieces and put them on sale so let's address that first. later today I will feature another piece and put up its sale price. I honestly am not sure which one yet.
Here is yesterdays featured pieces. The first is named: Reaching

This piece is truly and eye catching cool piece! Can be whatever you can imagine it to be. I have heard several different ideas of what people have seen. Just a beautifully colored piece! The reason this piece is named Reaching is, when I was painting this piece I was reaching down deep inside to find a new part of me to paint with. I believe it worked well because it started a whole new way in which I paint. I am always looking for new ways and interesting theories in the way I produce my artwork. As I say I am always in an experimental stage because I do not want to be labeled or stuck to one thing!

This next piece is: Quick Visit On Long Love Lake Whimsyville Series

This piece is one of my personal favorites and I waver whether it will become a part of my private collection weekly. For now this piece is still available for sale. I currently have it on sale for the lowest price I will ever take for it and it hurts! lol I kid you not since I am considering whether to sell it at all.
I am not sure where these pieces come from either. They are a fairy tale land that I live in my head! I would give anything to fall down a rabbit hole or something and end up here. What amazing scenery I would see in Whimsyville.  Oh, and who wouldn't want to live in that house? The swirly trees dangling their hearts, the glorious sky..... I live in an amazing place in my head. Probably why I never want to sell these pieces. I can look into them and take myself there any moment of any day. I even have little stories to them usually. I just never have the time to write them down. :)
That's all I got time for now. Take care and smile and make someone else smile!

Friday, December 2, 2011

Hello Friday! Not feeling so good today. Trying hard to feel better. Got an abstract on the easel I need to finish and thinking about the show I have coming up in January. I have at least the next three paintings already planned out in my head! Really tired though.

Today's Featured piece is:  In The Moment

This piece is a mixed media piece. A collage with a painting, if you will.
The colors in this piece are brown, white, black, and gray. The ballerina is dancing her way down the  musical staff.
I am not real sure where these paintings come from. This is my third mixed media ballerina. I just really like these pieces. I also have two gears, mixed media pieces. One day I just felt like doing this and it snow balled into these pieces. They are interesting and different. That makes them special. I happen to love the way the human body moves in dance and the beauty of a dancers body. I think the obsession with ballerina's is when I was a little girl I wanted to take ballet so badly! I never got to and still regret it to this day. I would always look at the ballet slippers at the shoe stores and dream. Maybe I should buy me a pair to hang on my wall and dream about. What do you think? Till then I will continue to paint ballerinas and dream. I think that is where a lot of my paintings come from. Dreams of all the things I wanted to do as a child. I wanted to take art classes too. I never did however but at least i achieved that dream on my own. I also taught myself to play the piano.... another dream and well I could go on and on but for now, I will be quiet =D
